R J Smyth Engineering have recently completed mechanical installation within new flavour lab at JTI Gallaher factory Ballymena.  The contract consisted of air, water, steam, condensate, chemical pipe installations and heat recovery ventilation.  The contract was completed within a tight time scale with RJS offsite manufacturing workshop being utilised to prefab and paint all chemical distribution pipe and other welded pipe services.  Of the back of this high quality installation a 2nd contract within JTI Gallahers has just been awarded.  RJS will soon begin work on phase 2 AHU upgrade.  This project consists of wet and dry services installations to 3No new air handling units along with new pump installations and modifications to existing plantrooms.  RJS look forward to working with Martin & Hamilton, JTI and WYG on this project.
