RJS recently completed steam capacity project at Altnagelvin Hospital.  The project was to upgrade an existing 8″steam pipe line to 12″.  This was a challenging project due to the difficulties of handling 12″ sch40 pipe in an area with limited access. RJS as always utilized there off-site fabrication capabilities by pre-fabricating all pipe work off site with only 5No welds being completed on site to tie into existing steam branch connections.  Pipe line was 3d modeled with design of all skid and guide bracketing to allow for expansion movement of the pipe line.  Multiple night shut downs where planned and work successfully completed within 2-4 hour night shut downs for various tie in spool installations.  RJS specialise in specialist pipe contracts for heavy industrial projects such as this within healthcare facilities, food & bev process, Energy from Wastes, Water treatment, package manufacturing,  pharmaceutical, rendering plants, power generation and petrochemical carrying out specialist black and clean utilities as well as process pipe installations with stainless and mild steel fabrications.
